I have been a CrossFit athlete for 13 years and a CrossFit coach at CFLO for the past 4 years. I love helping people and working with them to achieve their personal goals. I love CrossFit's community, which is the biggest reason my wife and I purchased the Gym in February of 2021. Amy and I believe in this community and are excited to see it grow year after year.

I have been participating in CrossFit since early 2009 in some form or another. I started coaching CrossFit in 2016, and have been enjoying it since. I have a teaching background and enjoy sharing knowledge around fitness and health for life.
The COVID19 Pandemic resulted in several changes for all of us. Some of those changes were some fantastic opportunities for me. One of those changes was remote coaching. This has been a blessing for us. During the past year, we also started OPEX CCP, which is a coaching education started by the first CrossFit Games Champ. Plus, I started working on more knowledge with the Precision Nutrition Level 1. I believe in the philosophy of TEACH - LEARN - MOVE - CREATE. I consider myself lucky to work at those things each day with my clients.
Little on the personal side. My wife and I live in the thriving metropolis of King City with our fur baby, Lexi. Tara and I have been married for 9 years. When we aren't working, we get lots of dog walks with our energetic dog. We enjoy finding good little spots around town to eat and trying new things (typically BBQ or tacos). I enjoy expressing my fitness with outdoor activities and participating in some local comps here and there.
Heidi’s passion for fitness began in college where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance from Brigham Young University. Shortly after graduating, she launched a personal training business where she trained individual clients and new trainers which she ran until relocating to Oregon. Heidi took time off from training others to raise 3 busy kids. Her husband introduced her to Crossfit while she was training for the Portland Marathon. She was instantly hooked. She received her CF-L1 to continue the training she received as a NASM-CPT. Heidi is excited to share her passion for fitness and how to integrate it successfully into a person’s busy life, teaching not just physical mobility but personal agility.

It’s Jon’s passion to partner with athletes to become the fullest manifestation of what they are created to be. This starts with physical fitness and moves through the core elements of clean nutrition, emotional/mental well-being, spiritual health, and deep relational connection. Jon has had the honor of co-leading a local fitness non-profit, Element Fitness, for the past 6 years and he’s thrilled to work with CFLO to help folks meet and exceed their goals. He is a Level 2 Crossfit instructor with 13 years of coaching experience ranging from adult fitness to youth sports. When he’s not coaching, or leading teams as an executive at Stumptown Coffee Roasters, he spends time with his best friend/wife, Shelley, and their five kids. They are deeply rooted in the West Linn/Lake Oswego area and passionate about this community.
Drew’s passion for fitness started in college and has only grown stronger in the 25 years since. Drew received his CrossFit Level 1 in 2012 as a way to increase his personal fitness knowledge, but also help bring CrossFit to the Nike Inc. campus.
In 2013, Drew spearheaded the product creation of a new shoe for a new division of Nike, they called the shoe, the Nike MetCon TR 1. He holds patents for the Nike MetCon franchise and the product has grown to be the most successful training shoe in the history of the company. Fun Fact: Some of the first Nike MetCon product testings was done right here at CFLO!!
After nearly 20 years at Nike, Drew retired and is now working on his own projects, raising two amazing young daughters with his wife (CFLO member Brittany), and helping people on their fitness journey.

CrossFit is entirely new to me. While I work out, I have not been a CrossFit person. But I get to be married to Rich and he loves CrossFit. I love that I get to interact with almost every member by taking care of the administration of the gym. And recently have been showing up on Saturdays! The community is great and they are so encouraging. Thanks, CFLO for being so awesome!
