Scott Bossert, Head Coach/Trainer

I have been participating in CrossFit since early 2009 in some form or another. I started coaching CrossFit in 2016, and have been enjoying it since. I have a teaching background and enjoy sharing knowledge around fitness and health for life.
The COVID19 Pandemic resulted in several changes for all of us.  Some of those changes were some fantastic opportunities for me.  One of those changes was remote coaching.  This has been a blessing for us.  During the past year, we also started OPEX CCP, which is a coaching education started by the first CrossFit Games Champ.  Plus, I started working on more knowledge with the Precision Nutrition Level 1.   I believe in the philosophy of TEACH - LEARN - MOVE - CREATE.   I consider myself lucky to work at those things each day with my clients.
Little on the personal side. My wife and I live in the thriving metropolis of King City with our fur baby, Lexi. Tara and I have been married for 9 years. When we aren't working, we get lots of dog walks with our energetic dog. We enjoy finding good little spots around town to eat and trying new things (typically BBQ or tacos). I enjoy expressing my fitness with outdoor activities and participating in some local comps here and there.

Heidi Mahaffey, NASM-CPT Trainer

Heidi’s passion for fitness began in college where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance from Brigham Young University. Shortly after graduating, she launched a personal training business where she trained individual clients and new trainers which she ran until relocating to Oregon.  Heidi took time off from training others to raise 3 busy kids. Her husband introduced her to Crossfit while she was training for the Portland Marathon. She was instantly hooked.  She received her CF-L1 to continue the training she received as a NASM-CPT.  Heidi is excited to share her passion for fitness and how to integrate it successfully into a person’s busy life, teaching not just physical mobility but personal agility.
